Prerequisites

To ensure a smooth setup process, review and complete the following preinstallation steps before installing the DomainLens app from Microsoft AppSource.

1. Select or Create a Power Platform Environment

Verify that you have access to a Power Platform environment with an enabled Dataverse database. The environment must be of type "Production" or "Sandbox", as DomainLens can only be installed in such environments.

You may either create a new environment or use an existing one, provided that Dataverse is enabled.

2. Assign a Power Apps Premium License

The user installing the app must have a valid Power Apps Premium license or a license for any Dynamics 365 app. Alternatively, a Power Apps Per-App Plan license can be used if it is assigned to the target environment.

3. Verify Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Policies

Ensure that the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies applied to the target Power Platform environment do not block the following connectors:

Required Connectors:

• Microsoft Dataverse (Premium)
• HTTP connector (Built-in)
• Power Automate Management
• Office 365 Outlook
• Office 365 Users
• Microsoft Teams

Custom Connector:

Additionally, the solution package includes a custom connector, DMARC Reports Viewer, with a configured host URL: https://dmarcreports.app.tarastech.com.

4. Assign the System Administrator Security Role

The user installing the app must have the System Administrator security role in the target Power Platform environment. This role is essential to provide the necessary permissions for installing and configuring the app.

If all prerequisites are met, proceed to Install Solution.
